Introduction of the Kindergarten

上海浦东新区民办万科幼儿园创办于2017年，位于浦东新区康桥镇，紧挨浦东民办万科学校，隶属于上海德英乐教育品牌创办的学校之一。

Our kindergarten was found in 2017, located in Kangqiao in Pudong New District. We are located right next to Vanke Primary School, which belongs to Shanghai DTD Education Group.

园所环境

The Environment of the Kindergarten

我园占地面积6438平方米，建筑面积4654平方米，户外活动场地面积1784平方米，本园设有大班、中班、小班、托班共4个年龄段班级。内设有STEAM教室、美工教室、烘焙教室、KMI教室、音乐教室和体育综合游戏室，另外还有开放式图书馆两个、开放式攀岩馆、多功能厅、室外多功能花园游戏区、足球场、篮球场及棒球场等综合运动场地。

Our kindergarten covers total area of 6438m2, which consists of buildings(4654m2) and an outdoor activity area(1784m2). In total we have four grades; Nursery, Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. We also have many resource rooms such as STEAM, Art, Baking, KMI, Music and PE. In addition, there are two open libraries, climbing-wall, multi-functional room, outdoor garden, and many more.

在国际化背景下，浦东新区民办万科幼儿园实行中外教师合作的国际班教学，主题式课程内容，为幼儿营造一个开放、宽松、国际化的氛围，让幼儿在一个自然的语言环境中了解不同的文化和习俗，强化对中、英文两种语言的自然习得，享受多元化的文化环境和氛围。

To foster an international enviornment, at our kindergarten, we have both Chinese and Foreign teachers. Although we are from different countries and cultures, all of our staff are supportive and work in harmony with each other. We have built an open, tolerant and international environment for our kids which allows them the benefits of acquiring language in a truly natural bilingual environment in which students benefit from a diverse culture.

Curriculum

浦东新区民办万科幼儿园秉承万科德英乐教育的一贯理念，以培养幼儿全面平衡的个性、创新探索的精神为宗旨，采用中西融合式课程，为幼儿创设浸润式英语学习环境，通过多元的教学形式，促进幼儿语言、科学、艺术、健康、社会等全面发展，以激发幼儿潜能，培养立身于世界的中华英才。

At our kindergarten, we stick to the educational principles set by ‘DTD Education’ with aims to cultivate a sense of individuality in our students, as well as pushing us educators to constantly innovate how we integrate both Chinese and Western curriculums. This involves us creating an immersive English learning environment whilst also promoting their development in art, science, language, health and social abilities. We hope this helps to inspire their potential and provides a basis for their education and ability to transfer knowledge throughout their life.

园所目前在园幼儿近260余名，教职工70名，每班4位老师（中外方班主任制，1位外方班主任，1位中方班主任，1位中方老师，1位保育老师），致力于打造严谨、精致、卓越的校园文化。

Our kindergarten has more than 260 children and 70 staff members. Each class has four teachers (1 Foreign homeroom teacher, 1 Chinese homeroom teacher, 1 Chinese teacher, and 1 life skill teacher). Our kindergarten is committed to creating a educative, exquisite and excellent school culture.

我们招收全市（不限户籍、不限国籍）身心健康、并且家长理念与我们相符的适龄幼儿。
